America Saves week is February 19-26, 2012 and this year Cornell Cooperative Extension will be helping to launch the new New York State Saves campaign, a wonderful way to enable consumers to build their financial capacity.
America Saves Campaign's objective is to provide education on the importance of saving.
America Saves and New York Saves goals are to provide an opportunity for New Yorkers to assess their financial situations and goals, to provide dedicated time for financial action and to provide time for Cornell Cooperative Extension and its partners to emphasize automatic savings and make it easy to start saving.
The theme for this year's America Saves Week is "Set a Goal. Make a Plan. Save Automatically." In celebration, CCE-Steuben has developed three free events to help YOU set a goal, make a plan and save automatically!!
