April 10 Healthy Living Garden Series at the Montour Falls Library with Roger Ort, horticultural staff from Cornell Cooperative Extension, will focus on site preparation. Please bring along with you soil samples from your garden and any other information, that would be helpful about your particular site. April 21 & 28 What’s In Your Dirt? If these warm spring days have you thinking about spring planting, mark your calendar for Dirt Days 2012! Cornell Cooperative Extension Schuyler County is offering two Dirt Days: April 21 and April 28, both 10 a.m.- noon at Stillman’s Greenhouse on Route 14 in Montour Falls. You are invited to bring in up to three soil samples for a FREE check-up before spring planting season. We’ll test your soil pH and make recommendations for what you plan to grow this season. We’ll also provide information on new phosphorous use regulations in New York. Stop by and see us to get started with your best garden ever!
