C TRAN Wins Award

The C TRAN branding effort has won a second place finish for Riger Marketing & Communications of Binghamton, NY. At the 22nd annual Genesis Awards Competition, the Communications Association of the Southern Tier (CAST) recognized Riger for Overall Organization/Brand Identity. 

The rebranding began in June of 2011, when C TRAN, formerly Chemung County Transit System, selected to give the system a new name, logo, and bus graphic design. Chemung County Mobility Manager, Tina Hager said, "We were impressed with Riger's creativity, clean graphic design and excellent reputation in the region."

The brand was rolled out to the public in October, and four 40-foot commuter buses with the new graphic design were put in service in December. The Genesis Awards recognize excellence in marketing communications. Judging criteria include creativity, execution, and how well communications objectives were met.
