Homebuyer education class Feb. 20th

Tri County Housing Council is offering a homebuyer education class on Saturday, February 20, 2010, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at its office located at 143 Hibbard Road, Big Flats.  Participants will learn about two homebuyer grant programs that are available in Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben Counties and how to apply for them.  Other topics include budgeting and credit, shopping for a home, and getting a mortgage.  Registration fee is $50 per family. The deadline to register is Monday, February 8, 2010.
