Hillside Children's Center, an affiliate of Hillside Family of Agencies has an opening for a Skillbuilder I in the Therapeutic Foster Care program in the Bath, NY area. This position is 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday (hours vary daily).

Under regular supervision and direction, the Skillbuilder I performs functions that assist in the care and treatment of children/youth and families and assisting children/youth to develop life and social skills in a community based setting. The Skillbuilder I is instrumental in establishing a safe physical and emotional environment for children/youth and families in care. The Skillbuilder I interacts with clients and families in a variety of settings including biological and foster homes, schools, neighborhood, community and group care settings.

High School diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or Human Services preferred. One to two years of experience with children and families required, two plus years preferred. Valid NYS License required. Candidates must meet agency driving and insurance standards.
