Tickets available for United Way event featuring Beatlemania Again

Tickets are now available for Kick It Up for United Way! – a night of family fun to celebrate the 2011 Community Campaign kickoff.

 

Kick It Up! will be held Friday, August 26 at the Nasser Civic Center ice rink in Corning. Beatlemania Again will perform from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Nik and the Nice Guys from 8 p.m. to midnight. Children’s entertainment including inflatables, balloon art, face-painting and magic will be offered from 5 to 8 p.m.

 

“The United Way Community Campaign kickoff event is huge draw and we are expecting several thousand people in attendance,” said Steve Hughes, Vice President of Resource Development. “The addition of Beatlemania Again will be a lot of fun for the community and help United Way set the stage for another record-setting campaign effort.”

 

Hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages will be available for purchase. Proper identification will be required for guests wishing to purchase beer or wine. No outside coolers will be allowed into the event.

 

Seating will be very limited. Guests should bring lawn chairs.

 

Jump Up! tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, free for ages 12 and under (must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are available at Wegmans in Elmira, Corning and Hornell, or by calling the United Way office at (607) 936-3753, ext. 207.
