Register Now for the Welcome Home Event & Veterans' Information Fair

The Bath VA Medical Center Veterans Operation Enduring Freedom(OEF)/Operation Iraqi Freedom(OIF)/Operation New Dawn(OND) Program, in conjunction with Watson Homestead Conference & Retreat Center, Corning Catering, Campbell American Legion Post #1279 and various Veterans Service Organizations throughout our region (Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Yates & Allegany Counties in New York and Tioga & Potter Counties in Pennsylvania), are hosting a Welcome Home Event & Veterans' Information Fair on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Watson Homestead Conference & Retreat Center in Painted Post, New York. 

This event is an opportunity to welcome home our returning combat Veterans, provide information and fun for Veterans of all periods of service and their families,  as well as pass along vital information about benefits our area Veterans may be eligible for.  The day will include food, music, children's activities, informational booths, military and sports displays, as well as special guest appearance(s). 

As a community organization that serves Veterans, we want to extend an invitation to you to have an informational table at the event.  We are anticipating a large volume of Veterans and their family members to join us, as personal invitations are being sent directly to local OEF/OIF/OND Veterans and Gold Star Mothers.  All other Veterans and family members will be invited via various local media sources.  Last year’s event drew approximately 1000 people and we are anticipating at least that many this year.
