September Nonprofit Professional: Linda Muller

Linda Muller from Bath, NY is the Nonprofit Professional for the month of September.  Ms. Muller works at the WELLNESS G.I.F.T.S  (Giving Inspiration to the Soul) as the registrar.  Her responsibilities include compiling information from families with children with special needs and attending the Wellness G.I.F.T.S retreats.  She is also responsible for generating specific lists with information about the retreats, contacting family members regarding financing and retreat attendance, quarterly reports, and other administrative tasks.

Ms. Muller has been with WELLNESS G.I.F.T.S since July of 2009.  She began the work because she enjoyed detailed bookkeeping and was looking for a part time job.  The mission of G.I.F.T.S was special and connected with her own beliefs.

When asked what is one of the biggest issues facing WELLNESS G.I.F.T.S, she responded by saying that the most important thing is “obtaining volunteers.”

When not working, Ms. Muller enjoys gardening, reading, and visiting the casinos.
