What is the Steuben Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force?
The Steuben Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force (STPPTF) is a coalition of Healthcare, Human Service and School professionals along with Community Volunteers dedicated to facilitating communication and awareness about teen pregnancy and STD prevention. The Task Force will serve as a broad-based, coordinated community effort to combat teen pregnancy and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases.
What is the objective of the Steuben Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force?
The Steuben Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force will support county-wide efforts to delay unintended pregnancy amongst teens; provide networking opportunities; offer professional development opportunities for people working with teens; provide information about issues relating to teen pregnancy prevention/STD transmission to county agencies, legislators, and other interested groups.
Why was the INSPIRE Award created?
This award will recognize that just one individual has the potential to impact and INSPIRE others to make positive choices and overcome adversity in their lives.

Award Entry Narrative:
This is the primary instrument on which the nomination will be judged. Describe in a detailed written statement why you believe the person being nominated should be considered for the award. Narrative should be based on the criteria listed above. Please include specific examples.
Relevant Attachments:
Attachments may be included that enhance and support the award entry. Send copies as materials will not be returned. Supporting letters are encouraged and are limited to three. Attachments and letters of support may be sent to the Steuben Rural Health Network at mannonk@ihsnet.org.
The 2011 INSPIRE Award Winner will be recognized at the Steuben Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force Annual Meeting on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Corning Country Club.
