IHS would like to welcome Hannah Murray as their new Program Assistant. As the Program Assistant, Ms. Murray assists with projects and tasks through the Institute for Human Services and the Steuben Rural Health Network. With IHS, she assists with daily administrative tasks as well as larger projects such as the creation of consistent job descriptions and a financial policies notebook.
With SRHN, she assists with health education and outreach programs such as Healthy Habits classes at local preschools and the Chronic Disease Self-Management program. I also attend community committee meetings and SRHN meetings and will be assisting with worksite wellness initiatives.
Ms. Murray is a recent graduate from SUNY Cortland and has a degree in Community Health with a Concentration in Administration and Planning. She grew up in Corning and moved back here after finishing school. Prior to working for IHS, she completed a 6 month internship with Cornell Cooperative Extension- Tompkins County. When not at work, Ms. Murray enjoys activities like running, yoga, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
