The Institute for Human Services, Inc. is hiring a Coordinator of Communications and Member Services to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of organization communications, outreach activities, events, and key membership services.

Pro Action’s Employment and Training Department has a full time opening for an Employment Development Specialist.

Provides unconditional, non-judgmental support to assigned consumers and families upon request who are participating with Adult Behavioral Services. The Peer Specialist works collaboratively with Care Managers. Must possess an understanding of the principles of recovery and resiliency model. Self-disclosure as a current or former consumer of or family member of a consumer of Mental Health or Substance Abuse services. Must be Certified Peer Specialist or Provisional Certified Peer Specialist.

Provides a variety of activities that are designed to assist the child/family in developing functional social skills in the home, school and community environments.  This may involve some individual and family counseling, as well as some collaboration with respite workers who will also be assisting with social skills development.

Responsible for the implementation of each consumers Individualized Program Plan as determined by the consumer and his/her Service Planning Team. This includes, but is not limited to; ongoing teaching/assisting with community integration, social and recreational activities, money management, transportation, behavioral needs and overall health and well being of the consumer. The Residence Counselor meets regularly with other members of the consumers Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate and meet with expressed (or implied) needs, likes and choices of the consumer. Will respect each consumer’s home, belongings and agency property.

Responsible for assuring that program youths are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner.  The Senior Counselor is highly involved in the individualized service planning for their assigned youth and completion of Medicaid rehabilitative service contacts. hermes birkin
