Mr. Kirby Edmonds, Managing Partner at Center for Transformative Action

Kirby Edmonds is managing partner of TFC Associates, a human relations training and consulting firm based in Ithaca, and director of the Dorothy Cotton Institute which envisions the full realization of a just and peaceful Beloved Community in which all people understand, respect, protect and exercise full human rights.

Afternoon Plenary: Bridging the Gap Between Community and Healthcare

Ms. Ann Monroe, Chair, DSRIP Project Approval and Oversight Committee

Ann F. Monroe recently retired after 13 years as the first President of the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, an independent private foundation committed to sparking lasting improvement for vulnerable older adults and children ages birth to five and increasing community health capacity. Ann has more than 40 years of experience leading public and private sector programs in mental health, community health, managed care, and philanthropy. She was previously the Director of the Quality Initiative at the California HealthCare Foundation and a Senior Vice President of Blue Cross of California. Ann is a member of NY Governor Cuomo’s Medicaid Redesign Team, Oversight Panel co-chair for the $6 Billion NY DSRIP program, co-chair of NY’s Regulatory Modernization workgroup to integrate physical health, mental health, and substance abuse services, Board Chair of Grantmakers in Aging, and board member of the National Coalition to Transform Advanced Care and the New York eHealth Collaborative. Ann has a BA from University of Illinois-Chicago in Political Science and an MA from University of Illinois-Springfield in Human Development.

  • Creating a Health Literate Organization
  • Round-Table Discussions

Participant for the display will NOT need to remain at the display table.
