Free E-Cigarette Prevention Training

October 25, 2018  10-11 a.m.

This is a free educational opportunity for anyone who is interested in learning more about the e-cigarette/vaping epidemic among youth and young adults. With local usage on the rise, it is vital that we are prepared to respond and educated on the prevention tools that will reduce the negative impact these products have on local youth.

Part of the training will highlight CATCH My Breath, a free e-cigarette prevention program that meets NYS Health Education standards. CATCH My Breath is a program that will help youth build knowledge and skills to resist media influences and peer pressure to try e-cigarettes. It was designed to be delivered by teachers, nurses, or school counselors, in the area of health education, tobacco education, physical education, or science.

By attending the training you will receive a free two-week access code to CATCH My Breath.

There will be call-in information provided at a later date.
