The Arc Steuben’s Art for the Arc silent auction raised more than $7,218 for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The fundraiser, sponsored by Chemung Canal Trust Company, directly benefited The Arc Steuben with all proceeds from the silent auction and tickets sales going back into the nonprofit organization’s Foundation.
The event was held on Saturday, November 10th, at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum. The fundraiser featured a silent auction with more than 50 items from local artists and businesses; hors d’ouerves by Corning Catering Inc.; tastings from six local breweries, distilleries, and wineries; and live music by the band Artistic License.
The Arc Steuben offers services/programs including community, employment, residential, transportation, and job-readiness training, to more than 950 people in Steuben and surrounding counties. For more information about the organization, visit www.arcofsteuben.org.
