The Arc of Steuben Names MaryLou Hunt-Quintal as Associate of the Month for May
BATH | MaryLou Hunt-Quintal, Associate Director of Quality Enhancement, was named Associate of the Month for May. MaryLou was nominated by Lynn Pesesky, Behavior Intervention Assistant, for performing with excellence at The Arc of Steuben for 30 years. When fellow associates were asked about MaryLou’s “above and beyond” efforts, they responded with complements to both her work and her personality.
Bernie Burns, Executive Director, said “She [MaryLou] is a long term associate who has had a number of jobs during her career. Her most recent position involves processing incidents, dealing with OPWDD, interfacing with the Justice Center and doing investigations. She has handled simple incidents and complex incidents; through it all she provides a quality investigation and report. She is great at what she does”.
Matt Mehlenbacher, Chief Operations Officer, goes on to say that “MaryLou is dedicated and very thorough in her investigations. She is a resource for staff during work hours and as well as ADOC [Administrative Designee On Call] after work hours. I believe MaryLou’s mannerisms are genuine and unthreatening which makes staff comfortable when speaking with her”.
Other comments made by associates were all similar in that they made it clear that MaryLou is very knowledgeable, approachable, patient, and caring, to all people, at work and in the homes. MaryLou is truly an asset to The Arc of Steuben.
Congratulations to MaryLou for being selected as associate of the month, and thank you for all that you do.
