Communications
Communication is essential to the success of any nonprofit organization. It tells the story of the organization, its accomplishments, and its needs. The better an organization is able to communicate its mission, the more successful it will be in acheiving it. Building and maintaining regular, effective communications can be difficult, and many organizations may not have the capacity to manage it. The Institute for Human Services is working to address those limitations by providing the following:
- Communications Strategy Development
- Social Media Strategy & Monitoring for ongoing use and campaigns
- Media Outreach
- Media Monitoring and Reporting
In addition, the Institute for Human Services serves as a source of nonprofit news and resources for nonprofits in the Southern Tier. Some of the methods we use include:
- The Provider Online - Website and Weekly Email
- Social Media - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest
Help us help you: Send us your news and get on our mailing list by contacting provider@ihsnet.org.
We encourage you to contact us to learn more about any of these services, and to learn more about how the Institute for Human Services can work with you to share your story with the region.
