2-1-1 HELPLINE is... a free and confidential information and referral service that connects individuals with resources in their community. 2-1-1 Helpline has directed those in need to hundreds of local human service agencies, plus many more agencies serving this region and to over 100 self-help and support groups. Callers speak directly with our information and referral specialists and gain access to comprehensive information and referral services 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
The Institute for Human Services has provided HELPLINE Information and Referral services since 1984. HELPLINE is now 2-1-1 HELPLINE, accessible by dialing 2-1-1 or 1-800-346-2211. We are a member of the 12-county 2-1-1 Finger Lakes Collaborative.
