Steuben Coordinated Transportation (SCT)
IHS collaborates with the Steuben County Office for the Aging and the United Way of the Southern Tier to bring the Steuben Coordinated Transportation – Volunteer Program to the community.
Without a car of one’s own, access to both services and amenities is a major challenge. When it comes to health care – the prime destination source for rides provided by our volunteers – this barrier can have potentially devastating consequences. These can be averted by providing both information and services.
Volunteer Driver Program Mobility Management
Steuben Coordinated Transportation is provided through a partnership of: Steuben County Office for the Aging, NYS Office for the Aging, the Administration of Aging, United Way of the Southern Tier, and 2-1-1 Helpline.
