Would you like to be a part of a local team helping those in need in your community? Volunteer drivers are needed who would be willing to help transport the elderly and needy to medically related appointments and other necessary services. Many senior citizens who still live at home have had to give up driving and are in need of rides to important, non-emergency appointments. Many of our local elderly regularly call Steuben Coordinated Transportation for help. Can you help us help them? As a volunteer, we work with you. We appreciate the value of your time. You decide when, how much, or how little you would like to help, on an as needed basis. Volunteers are the lifeline of what we do! Volunteers use their own vehicles and reimbursement is available for all miles driven, meals and/or parking expenses incurred on an authorized transport.
