The Institute for Human Services’ Board of Directors is excited to announce that Jaclyn Woollett has been named Executive Director, effective October 18, 2017. Jaclyn will step in for Patrick Rogers, who has held the position for 20 years and will be retiring in 2018.
Chemung County Executive Tom Santulli has announced the appointment of Nicolette Wagoner to the joint position of Chemung County Planning Commissioner and Director of the Elmira-Chemung Transportation Council (ECTC).
The Arc of Chemung announces that Gary Soule (Elmira), a person supported by the agency, was among 58 statewide 2017 Joslin Outstanding Performers recognized through New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc’s (NYSID) annual people-centered awards program. Gary is being recognized for his custodial and landscaping work through Southern Tier Industries (STI).

The Arc of Steuben, a not-for-profit organization supporting people with disabilities in Steuben County, had been awarded $33,000 in grants from the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services to support the Arc of Steuben’s guardianship and recreation programs.
The Arc of Steuben is expanding its efforts this week and opening a new location in Painted Post. The building replaces the agency’s previous location on Market Street in Corning. The new location, in the Village Square Plaza, is currently operating as office space for associates. The new address is 199 Village Square Painted Post, New York 14870 and the phone number is 607-936-0315.
