This club focuses on traditional swim instruction as well as teaching techniques through hands-on participation. In additional, swimmers learn CPR, AED, & First Aid Skills.

As we reviewed 2016 in preparation for 2017, we realized our family, friends, and supporters might be as excited as we are to see it in pictures. Nonprofit work is not always tangible - helping, caring, and supporting doesn't generate documentation but sometimes you can capture it in smiles, hugs, and if you're lucky, pictures.
In 2016 IHS Coordinated Transportation Services (CTS) provided over 1.16 MILLION MILES of transportation to Southern Tier Residents! The Institute for Human Services’ (IHS) volunteer drivers provided 1,069,547 miles and donating 33,872 hours of service; equivalent to 21.2 full-time drivers with a value of $810,000! IHS also provided 3,805 bus tokes to Catholic Charities of Steuben’s Turning Point clients free of charge, resulting in over 100,000 miles of additional transportation through the public transit system.
Representatives of the Arcs of Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben criticized Gov. Andrew Cuomo Wednesday for neglecting to include funds necessary to pay Direct Support Professionals a living wage in his 2017-18 budget.
In May of 2016, the Economic Opportunity Program hosted an information session with Melinda Sanderson on the NYS Mentoring Program created by Governor Cuomo's Office. The Ernie Davis Community Center (a program of EOP) was approved as a host site for the State Sponsored Mentoring Program.
