CHILDREN'S INTEGRATED SERVICES FACILITATOR- Two (2) up to one year temporary position, pending commission and legislative approval, in the Department of Mental Health/Children's Integrated Services Division.  Hours will be flexible to include some nights and weekends.  Work may be performed at various locations throughout Chemung County.  Entry-level salary: $19.91/hour.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  The Children's Integrated Services Facilitator is an entry level professional position serving with a service delivery team, which assists families with children between the ages of 0 and 18 years that are experiencing significant behavior issues and/or an emotional disturbance in "wrapping" services and supports around the child and family to assist with maintaining the child in the home, school and community. Supervision is not a responsibility of the class.  General direction is received from Senior Caseworkers and Social Workers.  Does related work as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Working knowledge of the practices and procedures of social case work and of the social factors related to behavior and emotional disturbances; working knowledge of strength based approaches and wrap around principles; working knowledge of social and human service programs; ability to organize work effectively; ability to prepare reports; ability to establish and maintain successful relationships; ability to get along well with others; tact; sensitivity to the reactions of others; good powers of observation and analysis; initiative; emotional maturity; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university, or New York State registered four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in a human services, social science or education field and one (1) year of experience in social casework.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of an appropriate Motor Vehicle Operator's license at the time of appointment.
