RSVP Steuben: Hornell/Wayland Volunteer Needs

posted 5/18/2012

Steuben County’s nonprofits need your time and talents to help seniors “Age in Place”!

·         Meal delivery drivers are greatly needed to deliver hot meals to homebound seniors Monday through Friday.  You will be provided with a clear route and directions.  No experience needed.  You don’t need to volunteer everyday…. choose from 1-5 days each week.  Mileage reimbursement available.

·         Faith in Action needs you to share your time to help seniors remain independent in their homes by providing transportation to appointments.  This is a very flexible commitment.

·         Steuben Coordinated Transportation needs caring people to transport seniors to needed medical appointments or food pantry visits.  Mileage reimbursement available.

We have something to fit your schedule!

If you are 55 years of age or older and you are interested in these or any other volunteer opportunities, call Mary at (607) 324-4892 or (607) 664-2298 to learn more about the benefits of being an RSVP Volunteer.

Please do not call the agencies or organizations directly.
