Celtic Music performance to be held at Steele Library

As part of Chemung County Library District’s Friends’ Summer Concert Series, Kate, Mark & Elspeth Cushing will perform – “An Evening of Traditional Celtic Music” - on Tuesday, July 10,2012 at 7pm in the Elmira Promenade outside the library.

Kate, Mark, and Elspeth play music within the living tradition of Scots & Celtic instrumental and vocal music. Their music features The Scottish Greatpipes  & Smallpipes, Harp,  Accordion  & Bodhran, with Flute, Whistle, Guitar, and vocals.  From dance music to ballads to a rousing march on  the great pipes, you’ll find your toes tapping when you hear them play.

This free concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Steele Memorial Library. Bring a chair or blanket.
