Tanner’s P.A.W.S., Inc., a newly formed animal rescue organization, was formed in March of 2012 by Christie Speciale. On March 13, 2012, the organization had their first Board meeting where officials and Board of Directors were nominated and appointed. Tanner’s P.A.W.S., Inc. will be filing 501(c)(3) not-for-profit status this year.
Tanner’s P.A.W.S., Inc. will be holding their first refundable can and bottle drive at American Twin Harley-Davidson in Painted Post on July 14th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The organization is seeking refundable cans and bottles to be used as a fundraiser to help build the new animal shelter that will hopefully be built by the end of this summer.
“We are trying to think of every possible fundraising idea we can implement to raise funds for the shelter. Right now we have a goal of raising $47,000 by the end of this year. Of that, the facility will cost approximately $32,000 and it will hold about twelve dogs initially”, says Christie Speciale, Founder and President.
Tanner’s P.A.W.S., Inc. would greatly appreciate any support the community can give.
