Advance Tickets Available for United Way Birthday Bash & Campaign Kickoff

Advance tickets are still available for the United Way Birthday Bash and campaign kickoff on August 24 at the Nasser Civic Center ice rink in Corning. This year’s event will again feature music by Beatlemania Again from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Nik and the Nice Guys from 8 to 11 p.m., as well as children’s entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m.

Hot dogs, hamburgers, cookies and beverages will be available for purchase. Proper identification will be required for guests wishing to purchase beer or wine. No outside coolers will be allowed into the event.

Seating will be very limited. Guests should bring lawn chairs.

Birthday Bash tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, free for ages 12 and under (must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are available at Wegmans in Elmira, Corning and Hornell, or by calling the United Way office at (607) 936-3753, ext. 207.
