Locally Grown festival Feb. 19th

The public is cordially invited to a local food festival on Friday, February 19 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Union Hall, 100 Civic Center Plaza, in Corning. 

Attendees can sample locally produced meats, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, wines, microbrews, and other farm products, as well as meet Finger Lakes farmers and learn how and where to buy fresh, healthy, local foods.

5:30 p.m. How to Buy Local Meat  -Matt LeRoux, Cornell Cooperative Extension

6:00 p.m. Working with Your Butcher - Becky Painter, Painters Meat Processing

6:30 p.m. What is a Community Supported Agriculture Cooperative (CSA)? - Mathew Glenn, Muddy Fingers Farm

7:30 p.m. How to Buy Local Meat - Matt LeRoux, Cornell Cooperative Extension (repeated)
