A presentation by Eva Grayzel at the Radisson Hotel in Corning on Thursday evening, March 11th, is entitled "Tongue-Tied: A Personal Journey and Triumph Over Oral Cancer."
Eva shares riveting details about her late stage diagnosis with oral cancer and how she found the strength to persevere through the devastating effects of surgery and radiation. A never-smoker/non-drinker, she endured a partial tongue reconstruction, a modified radical neck dissection, and a maximum dose of radiation therapy.
Eva is the author of “YOU ARE NOT ALONE; Families Touched By Cancer.” Free copies of the books will be given to all those who attend her lecture on Thursday, March 11.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m., with a buffet dinner with speaker Eva Grayzel to follow. Book signing with Eva following her lecture.
