The Resource Planning and Development division provides professional services to public and private human service agencies to identify, develop, and maximize resources to help each agency fulfill its mission.  Its Planning Initiatives are prime examples of agencies working in collaboration for the benefit of each agency and the communities they serve:

  • The Steuben and Chemung Development Groups are each comprised of member agencies who support and utilize collaborative resource development and grant writing services.

  • The Steuben Integrated Planning (SIP) process is a tri-annual in-depth review of services, achievements, and goals pertaining to the county's Children and Family Services and Youth Services.

  • The Homeless Continuum of Care (CofC) is a group of agencies who work in partnership to coordinate services for the homeless across Allegany, Steuben, and Chemung Counties.

For the benefit of agencies throughout the region, additional Development Resources, such as regional demographic information, services plans, and grant sources and tips, are maintained and available at no cost on this website.
