The Arc of Steuben Names Christine Frawley as Associate of the Month for September

BATH | Christine Frawley, Direct Support Professional (DSP), was named Associate of the Month for September. Frawley was nominated by Lynn Pesesky, Behavior Intervention Assistant, for demonstrating the core mission and values of The Arc of Steuben.

Frawley gets to know the person she is working with by listening and talking to them, and getting to know and understand them. Frawley has built relationships not only with the people she supports but also with fellow associates.

Recently, Frawley and Pesesky worked together to set up a Personal Outcomes Measures (POMs) interview. Pesesky wrote in the nomination that Frawley helped set up a meeting with a person we support, and she also explained to that person the purpose of the interview. Pesesky said “during the interview, Chris attentively listened to the conversation, was always mindful of the person and compassionately and patiently commented as needed. Chris acted professionally and at all times displayed trustworthiness and a commitment to high standards too”.

“Chris accomplishes our mission and values, the concept for the I CARE initiative and being person-centered by her dedicated actions and her willingness to ensure that all people succeed” said Pesesky.
