The Arc of Steuben Names Jonathan Stromsness as Associate of the Month for November
BATH | Jonathan Stromsness, Innovative Supports, was named Associate of the Month for November. Stromsness was nominated by Bona Elliott, Residence Manger, for picking up shifts at multiple houses after his normal schedule.
In her nomination Elliott said Stromsness brings with him the knowledge of person-centered approaches and has been sharing this with many associates. Recently, while providing support, Stromsness provided a positive visual experience to new associates.
At the end of one of his shifts, Stromsness noticed that his support was still needed at the house; he changed his plans and stayed the entire night to assist new associates.
Elliott said “each of the homes that Jonathan has helped by picking up shifts after his normal schedule is very appreciative of your help”.
