We have some awesome activities planned for youth at the Dormann Library in the next week. If they are interested in making Straw Rockets, we have Grab and Go kits available for youth aged 5 to 12 that can be picked up starting on Tuesday, January 11. They will be available while supplies last and it is one kit per person.
Teens and tweens (aged 13+) can come in to the Dormann to make a Zodiac and Stars Foil Painting on Thursday, January 13 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. An acrylic frame will be provide to display the paintings, too! Pre-registration is appreciated and can be done by stopping into the library, calling us at 607-77-6-4613, by contacting us through email at bath@stls.org or on Facebook.
We have also scheduled a Role Playing game session for Friday, January 14 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. It is a self-contained game and will only last for the one session. This program is open to youth ages 10 to 16. There is no rolling up a character to play in the game, as we will have those already prepared. This is a great way to try out a role playing game without a huge time commitment. Space is limited, so please contact us to get registered.
Don’t forget that when you participate in a program at the Dormann Library in January, you can earn participation tickets to be entered in our prize drawings for the Winter Reading Program! Stop in and sign up for the Winter Reading Program now.
