January is National Tea Month. Due to the colder weather, it is also usually a time when all you really want to do is curl up inside with a good book. The Dormann Library would like to encourage you to do both!
We are sponsoring a new Reading Challenge – “Tea with a Capital “T”. All you have to do is read a book that starts with the letter “T” (Yes, the word “The” counts!) or by an author whose first or last name starts with that very same letter. Stop by the library and we will even hook you up with some tea to go with your book!
What fun is a challenge without some prizes? Fill out an entry form and return it when the Dormann Library is open or you can even email them to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to be entered in the contest. All entry forms need to be returned by Friday, January 29 at 5:00pm when the library closes. This contest is open to those aged 13 and up. We will draw two prizewinners to win some tea-themed goodies on the following Monday.
You can enter as many times as you want depending on how many books you can read. So is it going to be Angie Thomas’s The Hate U Give with some Red Zinger or The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett with Earl Grey? We can’t wait to see what you pick!
