Center Based Home Visitor – Hornell Area – Full Time / School Year Calendar
Center Based Home Visitor – Hornell Area: Pro Action’s Resilient Children and Families Home Visiting Programming is seeking a caring professional to work with families of children enrolled in Head Start in the Hornell area. This full-time, 37.5 hour per week position is eligible for benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement, generous paid time off and paid holidays.
The Center Based Home Visitor is a school-year calendar position that will provide opportunities for families to be engaged in their child’s learning and development and provide parent education opportunities. Additional essential responsibilities of the Home Visitor will include recruiting and enrolling eligible children and families, completing home visits with program participants, supporting families in a goal setting process and accessing additional resources, and assisting with classroom activities as needed.
Educational requirements for this position (at hire or within 18 months of hire) are a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. An applicable Degree or Family Development Credential is preferred.
The Home Visitor must have excellent organizational and time management skills and flexibility. The position requires a driver’s license meeting agency standards and reliable transportation.
