  Classroom Substitutes –   Pro Action’s Head Start Program seeks applicants for Classroom Substitutes for the 2021-2022 school year.  Substitute staff is needed at our Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms in all Steuben and Yates County locations including Addison, Avoca, Bath, Campbell-Savona, Canisteo-Greenwood, Hornell, Corning-Painted Post, Wayland-Cohocton, Penn Yan, and Jasper-Troupsburg.

  Responsibilities:  Classroom Substitutes have direct interaction with children and assist teaching staff with activities.  Will assist with children’s mealtimes and make sure the classroom is clean.

• Requirements

  Qualifications: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience working with children.  Experience in a preschool classroom setting is preferred.  Must have reliable transportation.
