Corning Rotary Celebrates Earth Day with Friends of the Chemung River Watershed
CORNING, NY — The Corning Rotary Club partnered with the Friends of the Chemung River Watershed (FCRW) to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up a section of the Chemung River between the Benjamin Patterson Bridge and the Bridge Street Bridge in Corning Saturday, April 17. The Corning Rotary Club also donated $500 to the FCRW to commemorate the day.
The initiative is aligned with Rotary International’s newly added Environmental focus area and will become an annual activity for the Corning Rotary Club.
