Mid-Winter Recess Library Activities
BATH – While the kids are off from school for their Mid-Winter Recess, come to the Dormann Library and have some fun! (Just a reminder, we will be closed for Presidents Day on Monday, Feb.17.) On Wednesday, February 19, from 3 to 4 p.m., join us in building igloos out of biodegradable packing peanuts. This is free STEM activity for kids of all ages. You have to use a little water to get the packing peanuts to stick together and lots of imagination to build your best igloo.
The Discovery Kids Program will be focusing on a polar bear theme on Friday, February 21 from 10:30am to 11:30am. Miss Kathleen makes sure our youngest patrons hear the greatest stories; sing and move to the coolest songs; and have a chance to make a craft. Later that afternoon, we will be showing the PG-rated movie Abominable starting at 1:00pm. The movie is 97 minutes long, so will make sure we have enough popcorn to snack on for the whole film.
