Dormann Library November Events

From Waldorf Salad and the good ole’ fashioned pie, apples are a favorite fruit of many folks.  The Dormann Library is celebrating all things apple with a “Taste of the Season” food program on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will have several varieties of apples to sample and we will provide apple cider to drink.

We encourage folks that decide to join us at this free event to bring your favorite apple recipe to share with the group.  We can make copies of the recipes, so everyone will be able to have one to take home with them. If you would like to provide a sample of your apple recipe for the group to taste, please have all the ingredients listed on a separate sheet of paper, so folks know what is in the dish.  Come and celebrate one of the classic foods of fall with us at the Dormann Library.

Reminder: With the holidays quickly approaching, it is nice to set some time aside to work on craft projects. Join us on Saturday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for some adult “Crafternoon” time. The library will provide the space, and you bring your own craft projects to work on. Some craft supply basics will be available to use, but there will be no formal instructions offered during this time. Each participant will have their own table to work at if space allows. Reserve your spot by calling the library at 607-776-4613.
