NATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVER’S MONTH WORKSHOP
The Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care Presents an Interactive Workshop on When Elder Care Hurts: How to Juggle Priorities, Set Boundaries, and Feel Good about Saying ‘No!”
Lisa A Kendall, LCSW-R, CSW-G
Lisa Kendall is a social work psychotherapist and clinical gerontologist who has passionately supported well-being for Elders and their care partners for over 35 years in a variety of care settings. Lisa maintains a private consulting practice in Ithaca, NY; is an Educator and Mentor for the Eden Alternative; and teaches that nationally recognized Fieldwork course for the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute.
The workshop will focus on:
- Juggling Priorities: How to identify what is Truly Meaningful
- Setting Limits: The Best Model for understanding Mental Wellness Ever…Looks Like Dancing!
- The Sandwich Crème Cookie Method for Saying “No,” without guilt!
Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Big Flats Community Center 476 Maple Street, Big Flats.
