Head Start Center Based Home Visitor – Wayland Area
Pro Action’s Head Start Program invites you to join our team of Early Childhood Professionals providing high quality services to children and families.
If you have a Family Development Credential or an Associate Degree related to Family, Social or Human Services, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position that offers generous benefits (paid time off, paid holidays, retirement, medical insurance) and daily opportunities to make a positive impact. We may also consider equivalent coursework and experience.
On a typical day as a Center Based Home Visitor, you might recruit and enroll eligible children and families, complete home visits with program participants, provide parent engagement opportunities and help families in a variety of ways – including providing them with support with goal setting and accessing additional resources. You will also have opportunities to assist in the classroom on an as-needed basis, working with other classroom staff and interacting with children during their daily routines and activities.
Our ideal applicant will have excellent organizational and time management skills and be flexible with their time. A driver’s license meeting agency standards and dependable transportation are required for this position.
