Job Announcement: Curator/Educator

Tanglewood Nature Center and Museum is seeking a part-time Curator/Educator. 

The Curator portion of the job serves as the primary animal caretaker for all live animals on the premises, consisting of approximately 45 species of animals – birds of prey, mammals, songbirds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and arthropods (native and exotic species).  In addition, the Curator plans, develops, and maintains exhibits and displays.

The Educator portion of the job provides educational programs to schools and the public both in house and off site.

Position is 25 hours/week/$13.00/hour/no benefits. Education/experience: 2 or 4-year science degree or vet tech (or similar) experience.
