Classroom Support Staff – Savona: Pro Action’s Head Start Program is seeking applicants for Classroom Support Staff for our Head Start/UPK location in Savona.
This position is eligible for our extensive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement, generous paid time off, and several paid holidays.
Responsibilities: Classroom Support Staff have daily, direct interaction with children and assist other classroom staff with implementing activities. Support Staff will maintain a clean environment and prepare food. Must adhere to Head Start Performance Standards and New York State Day Care Regulations.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a High School diploma and experience working with children. Experience in a preschool classroom setting is preferred. Must pass multiple background checks and have a valid driver’s license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation.
