String Art, Movies and the Reopening of Chapters Cafe at Dormann Library in June

The Dormann Library is offering a String Art Craft Program for those aged 16 and up on Thursday, June 10 starting at 6:00pm. Space is limited and does require pre-registration. You can do that by stopping in the library during business hours or by calling us at 607-776-4613. All the materials will be provided for this free program, but if you have a small hammer, feel free to bring it with you. The string art mountain wall hangings will make a great Father’s Day gift for a lucky dad!

If you are younger than 16 and still want to get your craft on, stop by the Dormann Library and pick up a Make and Take Kit to make your own rainbow to hang at home. The kit includes everything you will need (a dab of glue is optional and is not provided). Rainbow kits are available until gone.

The Dormann Library is showing movies outside every Friday night starting at 8:00pm. The Chapter’s Café is open with a limited menu from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on movie nights. Free popcorn is available. Bring your own chairs and blankets. If it rains, the movies will be moved inside. We would love to tell you the titles of the movies here, but you will need to call the library or check our Facebook page to find out. We are only showing G, PG, or PG13 movies to make this a family-friendly outing.

Some of the craft projects available at the Dormann Library for June. Sign up for the Adult String Art Program being held on June 10 or stop in to pick up a Rainbow Make & Take for Teens/Tweens. Call 607-776-4613 for more info.
