Part-Time: WIC Program Nutritionist -OPEN POSITION for Livingston County Department of Health

This responsible and rewarding part-time position is in the Livingston County Department of Health WIC Program.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is a professional position that has a focus in the area of nutrition, especially relating to the Women, Infants and Children (“WIC”) program. Assignments are normally limited to those tasks which do not require advanced training or experience but require the application of the principles of behavioral sciences and nutrition in public health programs in order to encourage the improvement or maintenance of health. Work is performed in the office and in the field. Supervision may be exercised over subordinate personnel. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor. A WIC Program Nutritionist does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must meet all requirements for one of the following qualification options in order to be approved for examination and/or appointment:
