Sexual and Reproductive Health and COVID19: Supporting Clients during the Pandemic
We’re living in unprecedented times, and COVID19 is impacting individuals and communities in countless ways. Join the PPGNY Training Institute to examine how the sexual and reproductive health of our clients may be impacted by the COVID19 pandemic and what providers and caring adults can do to support. During this time of crisis management, we know sexuality can’t be “on pause” so we must still find ways to address the SRH needs of clients. By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
· Contextualize sexuality in a broader framework;
· Identify ways sexual and reproductive health (SRH) may be impacted by the COVID19 pandemic with a focus on equity; and
· Support clients in accessing SRH care and support services during the COVID19 Pandemic.
Sexual and Reproductive Health and COVID19 will provide information all providers can use, including educators and those working in the sexual and reproductive health or adjacent fields.
The Training Institute at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) provides high-quality training on sexual and reproductive health topics. PPGNY trainings are ideal for professionals, including educators, health care providers, social workers, case managers, youth workers, and more. All sessions will be offered via interactive webinar.
