    Birth to 5 Home Based Home Visitor – Steuben County/Addison area:

    Pro Action’s Resilient Children and Families Home Visiting Program is seeking a Home Visitor to work with children and families in their home settings in Addison and the surrounding area. This is a 37.5 hour per week, benefit eligible, full-year position.

    Responsibilities of a Home Visitor include recruiting and enrolling eligible children and families, providing educational activities for pregnant woman, infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children in a home setting, supporting family engagement in their child’s development, and supporting families in a goal setting process and accessing additional resources.

  • Requirements

    This position requires a minimum of a Home-Based CDA Credential or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or bachelor’s degree.

    Home Visitors must be professional, caring, and compassionate individuals who understand early childhood development and have a passion for working with children and their families.  Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and flexibility.  A driver’s license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation are required.
