ProAction Head Start Classroom Support Staff – Canisteo
Head Start Classroom Support Staff – Canisteo: Pro Action’s Head Start Program is seeking applicants for a Classroom Support Staff position at our location in Canisteo. This is a full time, school-year calendar position.
This position is eligible for our extensive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement plan with employer contributions, generous paid time off and several paid holidays.
Responsibilities: Classroom Support Staff have daily, direct interaction with children and assist other classroom staff with implementing activities. Support Staff will maintain a clean environment and prepare food. Must adhere to Head Start Performance Standards and New York State Day Care Regulations.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a High School diploma and experience working with children. Experience in a preschool classroom setting is preferred. Must pass multiple background checks and have a valid deriver’s license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation.
