Home Visitors (Steuben County) – Two Positions
Pro Action’s Resilient Children and Families Programing is seeking applicants for two Home Visitors who will serve children and families in Steuben County.
These are full year, full time (37.5 hours per week) positions that are eligible for benefits including health, dental and vision insurance and a retirement plan with employer contributions. We offer generous paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays.
The Home Visitor position requires the minimum of home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Excellent organizational and time management skills and flexibility are requirements of this position. A driver’s license meeting agency standards and reliable transportation are also required.
Responsibilities of the Home Visitor include recruiting and enrolling eligible children and families, providing educational activities for pregnant women, infants, toddlers and preschool age children in a home setting, supporting family engagement in their child’s development, and supporting families in a goal setting process and accessing additional resources.
Home Visitors must be professional, caring and compassionate individuals who understand early childhood development and have a passion for working with children and their families. Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and flexibility. A Driver’s license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation are required.
