Keynote Workshop:

Building Your Bounce – Caring for Those Who Care for Others

People who are stressed are more irritable. People who are stressed are more likely to be inconsistent. Caregivers who are stressed are more tired. Caregivers who are stressed lose a feeling of joy for life. Life is full of challenges, but there are simple and positive things we can do to help make our own resilience a priority. We can’t possibly continue to help others if we can’t help ourselves. During this keynote/workshop, you will Build Your Bounce by (1) acknowledging that you need to do so, (2) assessing your strengths and needs, and (3) employing simple and inexpensive strategies to reduce our stress and promote social and emotional health.

Afternoon breakouts will offer two sessions to choose from:

Session 1:

  • FLIP IT! for Adults
  • Enough Abuse
  • Introduction to the Sanctuary Model

Session 2:

  • FLIP IT! for Youth
  • Introduction to Tools and Trainings for your Team, including: Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid, Your Journey Together, Why Try
