Corning Rotary Hosts Successful Community Gardens Cleanup

On Saturday, May 16, the Corning Rotary Club hosted a successful Spring Cleanup Session at the Kate Danforth Community Gardens located adjacent to the Town of Corning offices in South Corning. The cleanup session drew great participation from Rotarians and friends, including Ernie Danforth, Stu Sammis, Dale Wexell, Wendy and Peter Winnett, Laura and Stephen Matson, Yumiko Akiba, and John Brown.

The Rotary Club of Corning recently welcomed its newest member, Jacqueline (Jackie) Towers. Jackie has worked for global consulting firms for 25 years and is currently employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Advisory (Consulting) division. She has a global job managing alliances and is thankful to have had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world.
