The New York State Department of Labor is partnering with CSS Workforce NY, SUNY Corning Community College, and the Greater Southern Tier BOCES to invite you to the Southern Tier Regional Virtual Career Fair, being held on Thursday, April 29, 2021!  This event will focus on industries that are in high demand, including: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality, Tourism and more!

The New York State Department of Labor’s virtual career fair platform is a branded digital environment that provides a sophisticated job fair simulation, enabling real-time interaction between recruiters and candidates.  Exhibitors will enjoy a customizable exhibitor booth equipped with high-resolution avatars, and special tabs to share video content, brochures, job vacancies, company overviews, and more – all at no cost!

To fully support your recruitment efforts, there will be a preview day on Wednesday April 28th, where job seekers can view content and job postings and prepare themselves for the “live” event.  The Virtual Career Fair will go live on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 11:00am till 2:00pm.  

Following receipt of exhibiting businesses registrations, businesses will receive an email containing deadlines, important links for accessing the event, login credentials to “create” your booth and a Virtual Career Fair Exhibitors Guide.  This guide details information about the event, gives helpful tips and answers many frequently asked questions.  Department of Labor staff will also be available throughout the process to help you with overall technical assistance.
